The State House is one of the oldest buildings in Delaware, built in 1787 to house the state government. Located in the heart of downtown, the State House is just North of the Dover Air Force Base. The State house was vacated by the general assembly in 1933, leaving it as a historical monument filled with relics from the last three centuries.
